Re: Dog found in Kaaawa
Ian Lind knows almost all the pets in Kaaawa and also has lots of photos on his blog. And I'm sure you've already looked at the bulletin board between the post office and Uncle Bobo's.
Maybe put an ad on CraigsList too.
Good luck finding the owner..
.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I posted on the bulletin board, info'd the PO worker, and posted on our corner. I'll try Ian/CL, good thot, thanx.
With any luck I got me a cool pooch.Last edited by Ron Whitfield; August 4, 2012, 02:42 AM.

Re: Dog found in Kaaawa
It is nice of you to help rescue a lost dog. Good luck with your search, and perhaps becoming a pet owner in the process. Here are some more ideas to check out:
Vets can scan the dog for an identity chip. Some rescue groups can do the same thing with their mobile devices. If you cannot get to a vet's office, try calling some rescue/shelters to see if they can help check for a chip.
The Hawaiian Humane Society has an online service for reporting lost/found pets.
There is a Facebook Lost and Found pet page.
The Hawaii Dog Foundation has a lost and found section (scroll down). Now run along and play, but don’t get into trouble.
