  • Charity Auction: Two Floor Tickets for American Idols Live, Sept 29

    These tickets are for the Wednesday, September 29 show 7 p.m. at Blaisdell Center. Yes, that's two floor seats for the sold out hot ticket event featuring Jasmine Trias and Talk Stink favorite Camille Velasco.

    A percentage of the proceeds will go directly to Hawaii's Christmas Wish Program a non-profit serving Hawaii's homeless children since 1988.

    The no reserve auction begins today at 4:30 p.m. HST and ends on Sunday, September 19, at 4:30 p.m. HST.

    Opening bid is $1.00, so bid early and bid often!

    I think the cause is certainly worthy, but what's with the twelve bucks for USPS First Class? I ask only with all due respect.

      Must be some heavy tickets. Or maybe it includes the chattering teeth?

      "A percentage"? I was about to ask how much, but noted the listing itself specifies 50 percent. That's a pretty good percentage! I'd never even heard about MissionFish before... what a neat idea.

        Glad this came up. Guess $12 was on my auto-fill.

        I've gone ahead and made an adjustment to the listing. USPS Priority, Tracking Number, Insurance = $7.00.

        Hope that hasn't effected too many people's thoughts on bidding. Thanks for spotting it!

        PS: Teeth are not included. Sorry.
