Booooooooooo! C'mon, Helen! You didn't post nearly 600 messages simply NOT CARING! The whole point to "this or that" is to choose something as if you were forced to come down on one side or the other. I'm grateful for any response at all, of course, but it would have been nice to see what you'd choose even for the ones you "don't care" about.

    All my friends went to Ernest Chang, so I'll go with him. Plus, Ellen Masaki has her students listen to recordings of pieces and then play like the recordings. This seems less artistic to me, especially for musicians of the caliber she works with.

    I'd have said Danny before the whole Best Party fiasco. Now I'm a Don Ho guy because when his daughter Hoku asked him if he hates "Tiny Bubbles" after having sung it twice a night for a million years, he answered, "That would be like hating money." Love it!

Spam or Tulip? - Only the spam that comes in the blue can. I hate the email kine.

Leeward or Windward? - Leeward Honolulu because that is where I live.

Aloha or Hawaiian? - Currently Aloha because they brought back coupons and have the current lowest interisland fare.

Star-Bulletin or Advertiser - Star Bulletin because they have a better website and Richard Borecca and Erika Engle work there.

Hilo Macaroni or Diamond Bakery? - I miss Hilo Macaroni's crackers.
