Kapalua Hotel being torn down

Kapalua Hotel, once the gem on Maui's North Shore, will be torn down in 2006 to make way for a megacomplex hotel/timeshare/condo resort. Approximately 250 workers will be displaced for at least 2 years. Just when we thought the economy was getting better...
