Is it really a sacrilege as some people make me feel it is.

NO! wHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY... I've seen lots of people add mayo with their ketchup. Some use shoyu sauce. Personally I like to dip it in chile pepper water! Yummy!

I'm going to agree with Glen and Lynn. It is sacrilege, but if it makes you happy, do it.

        Really? Mayo on laulau? Ugh.

Never felt any desire or need to add anything to lau lau, but Prairie Home Companion's "Ketchup Advisory Board" would undoubtedly agree.

"These are the good days for Barb and me ..." (as we dump ketchup on our lau lau).

I know for a fact that Gov. Lingle's personal chef, Alan Awana, dumps mayo all over his laulau. But then again...he dumps mayo on everything he eats. (eh Cuzzin Awana, if you read dis, you know I oni telling da troot)

Put it this way, if Costco sold ketchup in 55 gallon drums, I would buy it.
