Saw Robots at Ward 16 on Saturday night. As a light comedy, parody of everyday life and references to classic movies (Wizard of Oz, 2001 and Singing in the Rain comes to mind) it was an okay movie to watch.

This is Hollywood. No big surprise.

Took the kids yesterday. Liked it a lot more than I thought I would. The pop culture references were cute, and the "production design" (much as that term applies to a wholly computer-generated universe) was impressive. If only appliances and gadgets today had the same character (i.e. pointless chrome things, wings, stylized bolts, etc.) that they did in the 50s and 60s.

Yeah, my husband & I saw that movie, too.

        I really liked it.

I figure, no one is to old to see any kind of movie like that.

What I like most, is one of those movie types, where they have animation
combined with real people in it. I bet that is really difficult thing to do &
to time it just right to coordinate it with the same movements with the animations.
I think Walt Disney, did something like that before, & also
among others aswell, if I am not mistaken about this.

I wish that they would have more of that type of movies being shown:
        animation with real people.

        Aloha.
