Marshall, Michigan's Honolulu House

I was looking at a map of Michigan and noted that there was duly noted in a the town of Marshall, Michigan something called the "Honolulu House". In Michigan? What gives? I had to find out, and this is what I found:

I thought that this was kind of interesting and figured others would find it interesting as well. I personally had never heard of it, and am wondering how many others in Hawaii are aware of this gem of tropical Hawaiian architecture found, in of all places, deep in the Midwest in Michigan.

This might have made a great bit of trivia for a future trivia game in the Players' Forum if it turned out to be somewhat unknown in the islands!
