          LOL
          Black Point, yeah?

Never could understand why people bother finding the house. Fence and trees completely block the view from the street. All they can see is the entrance gate and the gardeners house.

              Re: Magnum P.I. ...his Home

I got to spend a fair amount of time at the "Masters Estate" when I was a kid, before Magnum was on the air. The house next door was owned by Buster and Ramona McGuire (scroll down to "in memoriam"), who were close enough to my childhood friend Mary that Mary called them Grandma and Grandpa. The Waimanalo house was a weekend house for the McGuires, and Mary's family would sometimes take my sister and me out there to spend the night. My first oama fishing was with the McGuires, knee-deep in water right behind the Masters Estate.

The Masters house had resident German shepherds (not Dobermans) that I used to play with; they were great at fetching coconuts we threw into the water.

Buster used to spend a half hour or so every morning, right after the sun came up, hitting golf balls from his back lawn into the water. My dad was into snorkling then, and when he and my mom would join us for a day, my dad would bring buckets of balls up from the reef so Buster could hit 'em back in.

When I write my best-seller, I'm buying that old McGuire house.
