Till This Day
A young Man knelt before the alter of Christ ragged and ill determined he begged the pastor for money, whole heartely,so that he may endure another week without going famine of all the things he didn't need, but his body craved. Not thinking the old man sympathized and quickly sent the the young hoodlum off with a decent amount of cash. Which the theif spent well, polluting his soul and destroying his mind. On the 4th day he returned, beatened and bruised kneeling before the alter of God. He pleaded with the paster, again for money.
"Arise my son and take this with you" the elderly man handed him an envelope which the thief so gracefully accepted.
Laughing and crying he went to meet the debtor who supplied his appetite
Came to see the power of Destruction and Devastation the young man thought he had fooled the church, when he felt inside the envelope and took out 2 gift certificate to the foodmart he couldn't believe his eye's.
And for that he was beaten again for not having enough.
Upon seeing the the church he schemed money from he strided foward thru the Doors and was invited for a sermon by the man at the door. When it was over the Pastor had his wounds tended too, and fed him a big feast. On the following day he asked again for money and instead was given a box of food. Angered and astounded he tried to attack the Pastor. "Why do you hit me, when all I want is to serve you? The theif answered "I don't want your help just the money." "If money is all you need than take it, but know this; to decieve God is to decieve yourself." The young man didn't take to the hidden message and stormed out the church. Six years after, the young man cleaned up his habbit and changed his way of living. But every night he wept for all time he waisted and couldn't replace. Offered him a place in the church the pastor did even after his death the man became a different creature, a creature of God. Till this day he is a member of that church.
Till this day he serves.
