  • Non-seaweed nori

Somebody has come up with nori-like sheets made from all kinds of foods.

...one new recipe that emerged wraps rice-encased rolls of pork tenderloin and sweet-potato tempura in a carrot-ginger film. Another carrot and sesame sushi comes swaddled in a lemon film.

Wow... That sounds fun. Can't replace nori, but could be neat.

Non seaweed nori? Why in the world would anyone want to replace something so perfect? Nutrition wise it's wayyyy better than any kind of flour wrap. High in protein, calcium, and antioxidants, nori would be hard to replace.
