What did you think of it, Helen? It seems to be getting high critical praise, yet some say they are put off by its anti-capitalist propaganda.* I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. *

Yes, Helen, what did you think? I read the book twice and found it unremittingly dark, yet compelling. JLC is not known for his cheery outlook on life but the stories are told in a spare, almost stark, manner which forces one to think beyond the obvious. Just from the trailers, it appears to have been well cast.Comment

Sorry for not saying my reaction to this movie before I was kind of tired last night. Anyway I thought it was an okay movie, there are some flashback scenes, one of them is about 1/3 of the movie.Comment
