  • Gas and the bus

I've seen no increase in bus riders on the bus I usually ride on in the morning. In fact ridership has gone down a couple people for some reason.

The afternoon bus has picked up some people. I don't think people are ready to give up their cars just yet.

Did anyone notice a significant increase in their HECO bill?

Yes, I've noticed the increase on my electric bill last month.
    I'm still here. Are you?

      Re: Gas and the bus

For the past two years about 99% of the time the bus is empty enough such that I always find a seat to sit on. If I end up standing, it's not for very long, after a few stops it empties out enough such that I find a seat to sit on.

Also depending on the route and if I am not rushed to get to point B if a really crowded bus comes by, I don't board it and wait for the next one.

For the HECO bill, my rent includes electricty, however I was informed that I was too much so I had to adjust my habits some what on the air conditioning.
