"Young Frankenstein" - perfectly crafted humor, and the high-point of Mel Brooks' creativity.

        Re: Favorite Movie

It's too hard for me to choose just one. The Godfather I and II make the short list though.

don't forget the second part of his question: why?
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear. 525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?

              Re: Favorite Movie

From a topic with nearly the same title as posted last year:

My favorite movie of all time is still Star Wars: Episode IV for reasons posted at the older thread.
              I'm still here. Are you?

'Cause they are action packed, a tad bit far-fetched, but overall good plots.

If you're into Rock and Roll, you gotta see this movie!

Festival Express is an incredible experience.

A true documentary. In 1970 after Woodstock, the bands and performers boarded a customized train and travelled from Toronto, to Winnipeg, to Calgary, with each stop culminating in a Mega-Concert.

I saw it last year at the Doris Duke Theatre. Really Choice!

Delaney & Bonnie, Flying Burrito Brothers, Greatful Dead, Great Speckled Bird, Buddy Guy, Ian & Silvia, Janis Joplin, Mashmakhan, Sha Na Na, The Band

I found it for sale on DVD. Here's a LINK

                    Re: Favorite Movie

The Emprire Strikes Back.....IMO the best of the Star Wars movies. Why? Because of the wisdom of Yoda...."Do Or Do Not, There Is No Try". This movie had the perfect story and is the "tie" to both trilogies. Frank Oz really brought Yoda to life with his skill and movements. CGI Yoda seems lame IMO.
