Anyone watch Boston Legal on ABC? I watch it every so often. Sometimes I like William Shatner's character Denny Crane, you really don't know if the character is senile, starting to get senile, or everyone else assumes he is senile and can get away with that.

Re: Boston Legal
Denny always says he has "Mad Cow" and I just love it. Do you notice what he says as reporters try to ask him comments? Stuff like "I'm Cooko for Cocoa Puffs" and "Trix are for Kids " which of course is always followed by his name "Denny Crane".
Priceless

Re: Boston Legal
My Hubby & I like that show.
I especially like James Spader's character: Alan Shore. He really says what he means, & Means what he says!!.
We watched it again last night. I believe Denny Crane (Willam Shatner's Character), well, looks to me that he is getting old & starting to slow down in his thinking, they both talked about Danny's sickness in his brain a while back in the show.
I especially liked that cool part where Denny's fake son (Donny) comes to Danny's court. At the end, the two were in a bar & Donny says, "thanks for continuing to be my fake father", & I think Denny said that " I never stoped being your fake father, son".
I really thought that was a really cool mement there.
Candice Bergen as Shirley Schmidt also plays a very good roll on her part.
Too be honest, I rather like the conversation Between James Spader & William Shatner towards the end,on Boston Legal, it is so fascinating.
on the up coming show they adverstised that Micheal J. Fox will be on there next. Hmm.... That would show to be something interesting.
Is it just me, or everyone there seemed like they have gotten a bit chubby on the side??.
I guess I am just use to seeing them when they were all somewhat slimer & slender back then.
Oh well.

Originally posted by helenTonight's two hour episode had the show's starting credits after the theme song like they usually do. That segment lasted for around 5 minutes, then breaked for a commerical. When the episode continued the credits still showed on.
& only had about 5-10 minutes of air time.
I guess it is not safe to say that: Hope he feels better soon, cuz, I don't think he will get better, but I just hope that he doesn't get worse, & still continue to live longer in his life time.
Though, he sure still looks good for his age & how sick he is.
Glad he atleast takes care of himself.
Well, that's my two cents.

I missed it tonight.
I believe he HAD married the mother when he was young then he slept wit the daughter in a recent epsiode or it made it seem like he did...anyways there was a paternity scare and something about him wanting to do the 3 some.
I can't remember if Delta Burke was the mom or not.Since when is psycho a bad thing??

I believe Alan Shore's action also was questionable. He disapointed me in his actions towards his friend Jerry. Jerry had shown a lot of cinfidence in himself, that he no longer became that nervouse fellow, until Alan shot him down, & made jerry wake up to that fact that what he trully was when he started with the firm.
After being yelled at by Alan, Jerry suddenly turned back the clock on himself, & became that nervouse fellow once again, his hands being on his front thighs, & having a low self asteem of himeself once again.
Thanks so much Alan Shore !!
I believe that Alan's action towards Jerry (being upset him) was all in the act of being a lawyer.
Hardly, I don't think so! That's a a lot of B.S. to me.
If Alan had any sense of decency of friendship towards Jerry, Alan wouldn't have acted that way towards Jerry!.
That is just plain cruel.
That's my two cents.

P.S. I know it's just a T.V. show, but I gotta let out some steam about some of the characters, now & then.Last edited by Serenity; February 21, 2007, 11:21 AM.Aches & Pains
