oooh, yea. I was in central intermediate school, x from da dawg bounty hunter office, when jeremia and all da odda hits... hit. They were a fave back then. Saw them in a current oldies revival concert on the telly. they still look and sound great.
different looks but they aged well.

Three Dog Night was one of my favorite rock groups of the 1970s. Here are my Top 20 most played Three Dog Night songs on iTunes and my iPod:

      1. Black and White
      2. Joy to the World
      3. Sunlight
      4. 'Til The World Ends
      5. Liar
      6. Shambala
      7. You
      8. Just An Old Fashioned Love Song
      9. Family of Man
      10. Pieces of April
      11. The Show Must Go On
      12. Never Been to Spain
      13. Going in Circles
      14. Eli's Coming
      15. One Man Band
      16. The Family Of Man
      17. Woman
      18. Mama Told Me Not To Come
      19. Peace Of Mind
      20. Rock And Roll Widow

My favorite Three Dog Night albums are:

      1. Naturally
      2. Harmony
      3. It Ain't Easy
      4. Celebrate: The Three Dog Night Story (greatest hits double CD set)
      5. Suitable for Framing

I think Chuck Negron was their best singer. It is too bad his life was messed up with drugs for a long time.
      I'm still here. Are you?

I can cut and paste song titles out of iTunes and into AppleWorks and then as plain text to be pasted here. Not too hard. I love doing lists of my favorite songs, movies, things.

            This thread cracks me up.

I doubt highly that a replica thread will occur based on other bands from the 70's, such as Bread. Or Air Supply.

<waits for someone to bust out all those nifty lyrics from songs like "If">

yeah, they're pretty good. kimo, i didn't see that oldies revival concert your referred to but you guys do know that chuck is no longer a part of that group, right? if i remember correctly, there's still some bad blood between chuck and the other original members.

What's wrong with da song, "If?" I love da song...I still do!

                    Auntie Lynn

...If a picture paints a thousand words
then why can't I paint you
                    The words could never show
the you I've come to know
...If a man could launch a thousand ships
then where am I to go
theres no one home but you
you're all that's left me to
And when my love for life is running dry
you come and pour yourself on me
...If a girl could be two places at one time
I'd be with you, tomarrow and today
                    Beside you all the way
Then one by one the stars would all go out
Then you and I, could simply run AWAY...

                        Mel,
You have a great selection of Three Dog Night songs. I really love "Sunlight". One that you did not list and a favorite of mine is "Out in the Country".
Whoa, Mista Buss Driva, eh, you can stop the buss o wat?

Sing an "Old Fashion Love Song" to the "Family of Man" since "Eli's Coming". Though you may be "One" or a "One Man Band" "Out in the Country" find "Shambala".

P.S.- "I've Never Been To Spain".

It's "Easy to be Hard", but one reason why I never have "Out in the Country" on my list is that it did not get enough plays this year to break into the top 20. I have 73 songs in my Three Dog Night library. They do have more as I don't have all the album tracks in there and certainly don't have all their albums on CD nor LP. I still like "Going in Circles" playing selections from my Three Dog Night collection and more. Music from the 1960s and 70s were the best IMHO.

Have a great new year everybody!
