I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Matthew Gray. Many of you might know my name because I was the Restaurant Reviewer and Food Writer for The Honolulu Advertiser newspaper for many years.
I know that HawaiiThreads is not a commercial place, but I wanted to share with you what I'm doing now. My new company is called Hawaii Food Tours and we offer three different guided restaurant tours in and around Honolulu.
Eating is such a social and primal part of our lives. "Breaking bread" together allows us to learn a lot about others. Every day I have the wonderful blessing to escort locals and visitors around our great city on these tours.
