  • Aloha from California

    Hi everyone

My name is Hans, and I will be visiting Hawaii for the first time in April. I will go to the U2 concert in Honolulu, and can't wait to discover more of Oahu

I am a scientist, living in northern California now.

I wish you all a nice day,

    Hans

    Hi Hans:
Welcome to Hawaii Threads. How much did you have to pay for your U2 tickets? The people on this forum can be very helpful if you're looking for places to see or dining options on Oahu, so don't be shy. Ask away!

      Hi

Thanks for the nice welcome! I bought my GA tickets in the U2.com pre-sale for $49.50.

I'm helping in organizing many things for a big group of U2 fans from all over the world, who will be visiting Oahu. We will have a Happy Hour at Tiki's Grill on April 7th, and a Lu'au on April 9th.

I'm looking forward to see as much as possible of Oahu, especially on Monday April 10th. I will leave Tuesday afternoon, so my stay is not very long, but I'd like to see as much as possible.

      Aloha,

      Hans

Wow...I'm sure there are some U2 fans in Honolulu who are jealous of the price you paid for those tickets. Honolulu tickets were going for about $500/pair for the good seats on eBay awhile back.

Maybe there are some U2 fans living in Honolulu who'd like to join in on your festivities....what times are the official events?

Last week TicketMaster released many new tickets, including GA tickets. Please check out TicketMaster.com before paying absurd prices on eBay. I've seen it myself: people purchasing on eBay for very high prices, while tickets were still available for the official price on TicketMaster.com.

Also, in our group we have quite some people who are selling their extra tickets at the official value. You can join the Yahoo group where we are organizing things here:

          http://groups.yahoo.com/group/zootopia_hawaii_2006

There you can also see the times for the events we organize. Anyone is free to join. We have several people from Honolulu already in the Yahoo group.

          Aloha,

          Hans
