Nerd alert: Local "celebrity" makes appearance on Discovery Channel

Hawaii's Kilo Moana was featured as one of the world's top 10 super ships on the Discovery Channel tonight. It's a SWATH design, just like the Navatek.

For those of you who have made a whale watch or dinner cruise on the Navatek, you can probably attest to the relative stability of the SWATH hull design in choppy conditions.
