    Aloha from N. Cali

    Aloha everyone. I was born in the islands but didn't live there until I was 14 years old (1972). I spent my high school years and beyond in Oahu. I left in 1990 for Colorado but I am now in Northern California. I don't think I would ever move back to the islands but I do really miss it. Lately I have been really longing for the aloha and missing very old friends that I have lost contact with. Hoping to find some of that here.

    There are lots of expats living on the Mainland now, and many would love to move back if it wasn't so danged expensive. Hawai'i Threads is definitely the place to find out what's going on in the islands.
