i like putting together jigsaw puzzles. i bought 3 puzzles with dolphins and whales and fish. i finished 1. its better than watching tv

Accepting that it's just another day in Seattle (Nei?) - during the winter, also being glad that I no longer live in the land of snow-shovels and plug-in engine block heaters.

Putting on our crocs and getting out all the umbrellas and walking around the neighborhood astonished at all the backed up rain drains! The cafe au lait in the ditch that runs behind the backyard and into Koko Marina, the waterfalls coming down all the way from Waimanalo, by Mokapuu Lookout, by Allan Davis and the golf course, and then off of Koko Crater! Amazing... Glad to be home. I drove through the worst of it around 12:15 today. Amazing. I still like the rain, but gawd bless those tourists--especially those who have saved for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Islands.
