I,m moving to Honolulu in may so, aloha! These threads are awsome. Just reading through past threads is an education in itself. I think for the most part paradise is what one makes of it.I met a real cool Samoan,(born in Hawaii) at Indiana University/Bloomington, and so I will take his first piece of advice: In everything that you do in Hawaii, always show respect for the people and the land, even if it means swallowing an insult or two.
