  • Help looking for full song titel (sample included)

here's the rapidshare link to the sample MP3 file.

I heard that song on hot939 a month ago, and I already contacted the Program Director of the station, and he asked the mixers who played that song while I recorded it, but no luck.

So, I'm getting a bit desperate here. And if I need to, then I'll even paypal US$10 for giving me the correct song title that has that part of the song in it.

    Thanks for your help!
How'd I get so white and nerdy?

This is turning out to be difficult to track down. Rappers have a fondness for quoting each other (and themselves) so that it's hard to tell what's original.

The first part of the mp3 file you link is very close to this Notrious B.I.G. song, "Hypnotize":
Timbs for my hooligans in Brooklyn
Dead right, if they head right, Biggie there Air Nike
Poppa been smooth since days of Underroos

      Except the singer is saying
... my hooligans in blue Chucks
Dead right, with they head right, Doggy dare, Air Nike
Man I been smooth since days of high school...

      Okay. Your song continues:
You can check my G files
Go back and see the date
Eighty five eighty six eighty seven eighty eight

These last two lines don't show up anywhere on the web, as far as I can see, but that first line, "check my G files" is in another Snoop song called "Pimp Slap."

Most of what's left isn't turning up anywhere in my Google-searches, except:
I can fill you with real millionaire **it
Wells Fargo 'cause my car go 160 swiftly
If I wreck it, buy a new one
      Your crew run, run, run
      I'm from two-one

Now compare that, again, to "Hypnotize":
I can fill ya wit real millionaire **it (I can fill ya)
Escargot, my car go, one sixty, swiftly
Wreck it buy a new one
Your crew run run run, your crew run run

The chorus ("something something something, can't you see?") looks a lot like the chorus from "Hypnotize," too.

Aaaaaand that's all I got. Hopefully, this info will help you track down your song.

Umm... that's a remix using the beat from Biggie's "Hypnotize" and a freestyle verse from Snoop.

Unless you're a working club/radio DJ, you'll probably be really hard-pressed to find a copy of that. It was probably only released on vinyl, with the only CD copies being those that were ripped onto somebody's computer and burned to CD-R.

        Good luck finding the song.
