For some reason, not very much publicity is being given to the fact that our American territory, Puerto Rico, is in dire financial trouble. How come we can spend $75 million to try to overthrow the current Iranian regime, when we can't help bail out 4 million of our "fellow" citizens? Puerto Rico is bankrupt. It has been forced to close down schools and essential services. And yet our government, which annexed the country after the Spanish American War, and who is supposedly the same White House that governs the rest of us, has not seen fit to help keep the country solvent? What's wrong with our priorities? Is Iran worth more to us than Puerto Rico. Oh wait. I already know the answer.
