While these threads have focused on Honolulu magazine's rankings, I wanted to note that Newsweek has put out its list of 1,200 Top U.S. Schools. Sorting the list by state, I noticed it jumps straight from Georgia to Idaho.

There are several notes and footnotes related to the methodology -- and they're offering school systems a chance to submit data proving that they belong on the list, and will amend accordingly.

My Highschool - Sehome High School in Washington placed #864 according to this list...

No wonder I had troubles in High School... I was competing with some of the best in the country!
