Hospitals struggle with overcrowding

"It's not uncommon to have four or five hospitals on total reroute for two to six hours in peak periods," said Toby Clairmont, Healthcare Association of Hawaii emergency program manager."
As a frequent patient and one who brings an ailing MAMA to recieve emergency treatment - I am not surprise of the crisis. I have waited in the Emergency room with my blood pressure 200/90 as long as 2 hours. There have been times when I would walk out because I was too tired waiting...I would eventually return with worse pain and a worse situation.
They take the most critical care first...they say. I have seen with my own eyes that is not true. Onnada story.
Crisis? You bet your sweet bippy! I telling you, this week we got all kinds of problems. Almost attack from that crazy Korean. 'Shootings' on Oahu, Home Invasion/Robbery due to a Mental Illness patient, Medicaid Insurance woes, Homeless Problems all leading to everyone going to Emergency for one big headache!
Wait. Me first!!!! Ok? Ok!
The bright side...it's Sunday! The start of hopefully a better week!
