Anyone here familar with the calling card market in HNL/Waikiki? I'm a provider of calling card, callshop, wholesale services on the mainland (I have my own switch, routes and tier 1 contracts) and am interested in talking to resellers or those familar with this market. I'll be moving to Waikiki in October.

Well, I'd say the local market is pretty saturated with calling card vendors. Everyone and their cousin seems to be in the business, and there doesn't appear to be a small retailer that doesn't have them clustered around the cash register. "Call the Philippines for 7 cents a minute!" Folks have definitely seized upon the appeal of prepaid international calls.
Another problem recently making headlines is this: Not only would you be competing against calling cards, but also against "calling cards."
