Foodnetwork's UNWRAPPED today showcased chewing gum art by artist Jason Kronenwald. Really neat!
He uses actual chewed gum as a medium to create portraits of blonde celebrities. Plywood is used as the "canvas", mostly for its inherent nature of chewing gum sticking to it - literally - like glue.
I'm assuming he only uses blonde subjects mainly to adhere to his rather catchy business name.
Interestingly, he doesn't like to chew the gum himself, and says the best brand to work with is Trident.
Each original piece sells for more than $1000.
TFN will probably air the same episode later tonight, so check it out if you get the chance.
