    About the Instructor:

    Genie Joseph, M.A., is an award winning film and television director. Co-producer of the “Beyond the Break” the TV series shot on Oahu for Nickelodeon, and Line Producer for Tides of War. Genie has written over twenty screenplays, ten of which have been independently produced. Her feature films have been on Variety’s Top 50 List and have won international awards. As a staff producer and director at KITV-4, she directed hundreds of TV commercials. Genie has published short stories and writes a “Quality of Life” column for The Honolulu Newspaper. She teaches media and communication at Chaminade University.
