"Vote your pocketbook" could take on a whole new meaning in Arizona.
The state is considering a proposal to boost turnout during elections by awarding a $1 million prize to one randomly selected voter, just for casting a ballot.

heheheheh. And that one million dollar winner would have how much left of that million by the time the Feds and State got their hands on their share?

Time was when people thought it was their patriotic duty to cast a ballot at election time. Sad how civic participation has degenerated to the point where you have to offer cash incentives to get people to participate in something for which other people gave up their lives in the past.
