Ratings Question

I recently saw the trailer for the movie Babel and at the beginning like with all trailers they show what the film is rated. When I see the rating, I like to read why examples like violence, scary images,and nudity are self-explanative. The question I have is what is graphic nudity? Is it similar to graphic violence, which is gross and gory?

Please respond if you know because Babel looks good ,but I need to know if the teenager should stay home.

Like in A History of Violence ? A History Of Violence has this listed: Rated R for strong brutal violence, graphic sexuality, nudity, language and some drug use.This must be as far as you can go before an NC-17 rating.

I guess you can have graphic sexuality with out graphic nudity.

I think that is because the graphic sex in History of Violence was fairly violent.
