Anapuni...go to hawaiithreads.com; the page that shows the list of forums. To the left of each forum name is a hibiscus. If it's red then there are new posts in that forum. If it's grey, there are no new posts.

If you look at each of the sub-forum listed there is a flower icon to the left of each sub-forum entry. If the flower icon is red then unread threads after your last visit exist in that sub-forum. If the flower icon is grey then no unread threads exist since your last visit.

ok - I see a Yellow Plumeria on the left of my screen, by/under the HT.com wording. I see no hibiscus, anywhere on my page, of any color. What am I missing cause this whole thread makes NO sense to me
