I wanted to say "thanks!" also to everyone who showed up and made the get-together such a great success. I had a great time meeting the faces behind some of the screen names here on Hawaii Threads, as well as Hawaii Stories, and I look forward to the next meeting!
Serenity, you funny! I was also happy that I wasn't the only one wearing glasses. Tell Peter when I came home, I gave a big bear hug to my MAMA. I wanted to give her a hand massage too like how he did to his MAMA (smile) but she wasn't in the mood! I thought that story was absolutely hilarious and touching as well.
Have a great trip in Las Vegas! Oh, and Good Luck too!
I'm glad you like your foot massage.
I think my hubby is such a sucker for foot massages,
I'm sure, if he had time, he could have probably gave you
a whole body massage, too.
After that,I bet, probably, he would have given everyone
a good massage, too. LOL.
My hubby didn't mind at all.
It was his pleasure.
BTW- To all:...
Now, if you see any of us on the road somewhere,
Say hi, or tap one of us on the shoulder & say hi, atleast, ok?.
Just make sure you remind us where we saw you from,
so that way, I wont be going crazy in my head & thinking....
"where on earth did we see him/her from?", you know?.
I just hate that. sheesh.
Thanks a whole bunch everybody for making the awsome picnic
& awsome photos possible!.
Parzquon, today's picnic was Awesome! I got to thank you and Kilinahe in person. I love your kids. To be able to meet other members in the flesh is truly an experience. I finally caught on about "seawater" and we all laughed. Helen, I'm still taking you out to lunch, if any more Polish sausages. Mel, please make some questions easier, eh? Oh! Mahalo for letting me use your slippa's to go to the wahine restroom. AbsolutChaos, let me know when we meet for drinks at Hanks again. Lisa your baby is precious. Your mac salad was onolicious. Jenn, the spring rolls were ono too. The picture of you with the License Plate Holder is unique. Ahh, Serenity and Peter...it was great meeting you. A kick boxing wife and a damn good foot massager...what a pair! Peter, thanks for the massage...it took away the pain.
It was my pleasure to cook the food for all to share! Next time, even more goodies.
Ryan, the pictures are great. It's time for me to get rid of the old picture of me on my Blog. The one you took at the picnic of me is "Me" today. Could you update it when you have time. I'm not gonna live under a facade anymore...
I can't wait for the next picnic!

P.S. kisses to Katie, Zack, Alex and Lisa's newborn.
I took 143 images and one video at the gathering today. From that I'm going to post 9 of them, I tried twice to upload them which didn't work and then resize/compress the images which is still being uploaded at this time.
What a great day! The weather held up for us, there was lots of entertainment (jumping wedding parties), and more talkstory than you could shake a keyboard at. Thanks to everyone who came, thanks to Lynn for just tacklingthe menu, thanks to Helen for trying to help wrangle Zac... thanks to everyone!
Serenity, here's some of the "first shift" gang! Click the photo to get to the whole set. (I'm saving the jumping wedding party for later. Heh.)
I love the pictures! Mahalo for keeping us up to the minute on them. I'm sad I'm stuck up here on da mainland and not able to participate. I'd love to come back home right now and talk story with you all. Make your next get together in November
Windy, blue skies but looming clouds. See the picnic in progress here! Posting from my smartphone of course...
kimo's prejudices:

My cell number is 372-3372. I'll be wearing a beige HawaiiThreads.com T-shirt (though the text is small) and will be with my wife and three kids under a small, blue-topped canopy. We tend to set up shop along the Diamond Head edge of Magic Island, maybe a third of a way down to the "end" (the rock-wall protected cove), usually under a tree just within the walking path. Just walk along the water nearest the marina and if you hit the cove, turn back.
