As a registrated user the answer is no. You can verify this yourself by having one of those tabs open to the Who's Online option. Even if you are logged on to other computers with different IP address you are going to show up as one entry and the Who's Online option will just show the latest action your account did in Hawaiithreads.

Does having different threads open in different tabs in a browser increase the # of viewers on HT?

The number of users on-line includes registrated users and non-registrated users (otherwise known as Guest) who are looking at Hawaiithreads.com at the time.
