Just wanted to introduce......I'm missesu and I am a SAHM(stay at home mom) who loves her crafts! Love to make, learn and teach!!! Just from browsing the other day, you guys look like a fun group! Okay just one question....it says keiki by my name...what does that mean?

keiki=rookie, newbie, n00b, green horn, etc.

the more post you get, the higher your "ranking" goes (e.g. 1,000 posts=ali'i; 10,000=you need a life or somethin')

Actually to get to ali'i you need to generate 800 posts, not a 1,000. One of the early threads discusses the ranking structure.

Yes, "keiki" means "child" realistically.

Now I'm a "kumu" on this board, which means "teacher/instructor." I can't wait to become an "ali'i" (chief)!
