Hi, I'm a noob here- just wanted to say aloha to everyone before I started getting all nutsos on the board... I heard about this site from a mom on another forum I post to a lot... oh FYI: I'm kind of a dork so don't mind me kay?

Oh Akrauth I'm so sorry!!! E kala mai ia'u... I live on the west side, I used to dance hula but after having all my kids it's hard to go... I danced for Halau Na Mamo o Puuanahulu off an on for a few years, as an adult... still call myself hulagirl even though I don't dance anymore just because it's easier for me to remember- getting old ya know?! Why, who do you dance for?

akrauth- that is so cool that you have a halau in Maine... I don't think I could live anywhere that didn't have Native Hawaiian culture- would be too weird for me.

It's actually in New Hampshire, about a half an hour or so from where I live.
