Hello! I'm Ashley from the way south subs of Chicago. I plan on visiting Hawaii after I recieve my SCUBA certification in May and to visit UH at Manoa.

I'm especially interested in the marine biology program at that school. If anyone goes there, please let me know! I'd love to pick you brain!

Or if anyone is into diving, dish out the good spots!

Thats alright tutusue. Do you live in Hawaii? I've never met anyone who's lived there. My parents got married on Maui 25 years ago and otherwise don't know much more about the Islands than I do.

Yes, I live in Makaha on the Island of Oahu. It's on the left side of this image. I work in Honolulu within walking distance of Iolani Palace, which is near the bottom of that same image. The distance between the 2 is 40 miles.

Wow, I bet it's just beautiful out there.

I'm getting a bad case of cabin fever here. It's 10 degrees with a windshield of -2. I've put off my stalls today, to freaking cold out. And looking on the Internet can only do so much. I miss real sunshine .
