I lived in Japan for seven years and LOVED IT! I go back every chance I get...
I came to Sendai a few times - usually right before an earthquake hit... but those are pretty frequent.
Do you know a kiwi (Maori) guy named JETZ? He surfs too and has been in Sendai for at least ten years. Just wondering... it's not THAT big and the gaijin do stand out...
If you do know Jetz, bring him over with you. I've been trying to get that guy to come visit me here ever since I moved!
