    BAMP Project proudly presents....

    Bright Eyes

    Nov 21, 7pm doors
    Hawaii Theatre
    Honolulu, HI

    GA $22, $32 & $60

BAMP Project, Hawaii's premier concert production company is proud to present the Hawaii debut performance of indie rock band Bright Eyes at the Hawaii Theatre on November 21.

Bright Eyes is fronted by Conor Oberst, an American singer-songwriter from Nebraska and features multi-instrumentalist/producer Mike Mogis and keyboard player Nate Walcott. The band released their first album in 1998, A Collection of Songs, written and recorded between 1995-1997 on the independent label Saddle Creek Records, which Oberst had co-formed earlier in collaboration with fellow local Omaha musicians.

It wasn't until early 2005 that Bright Eyes’ success snowballed, when the simultaneous release of the sister albums I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Digital Ash In A Digital Urn saw the Nebraskans hurled into the limelight and the Billboard Charts. From magazine covers to late night talk shows, they were name-checked by everyone from sports casters to country stars.

The band’s latest album, The People’s Key, released earlier this year is an assured and accomplished album, artfully arranged and filled with the engaging and mesmeric songwriting for which Oberst is renowned. It's a much anticipated record nearly four years since the release the acclaimed Cassadaga.

Bright Eyes will make their Hawaii debut performance straight off of their tour through Australia from the Harvest Festival.
