Turtle Bay Resort, Surfer The Bar and BAMP Project are proud to welcome back singer-songwriter Matt Costa for a one-night performance at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu.

Hawaii's own Jack Jackson helped to create Costa's empire through his own Brush Fire Records with the release of Costa's two hit albums Songs We Sing and Unfamiliar Faces. Costa's harmonious and happy go lucky sound can be heard through catchy songs "Cold December" and "Sunshine" off his first album and "Mr. Pitiful" and "Lilacs" off his second album. His sound and explosive talent launched a world-wide sensation and performances with some of MTV's hottest bands like No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Death Cab For Cutie, My Morning Jacket and even with Hollywood actress Zoey Deschanel.

The So-Cal musician just released a new four track EP Sacred Hills on November 6 as a precursor to his upcoming self-titled fourth album expected on February 12. Sacred Hills features the tracks “Good Times” and “Loving You” from the forthcoming Matt Costa longplayer as well the songs “Never Change” and “Sacred Hills”, which will not appear on the album. The album is a 10-song collection of new songs recorded in Scotland with long-time Belle & Sebastian/Mogwai collaborator Tony Doogan, as well as Stevie Jackson, Chris Geddes and Bobby Kildea from the group. On the new release, Costa thoughtfully mines elements of the past, while exploring new territory. His penchant for melodic exploration is on full display throughout the new offering. The songs, sounds, lyrics and overall vibe of the album have elevated Costa to a new artistic plane.

Costa blends expansive horn and string arrangements with ethereal harmonies and his warm vocals. The songs run the gamut from lush, elaborate arrangements “Golden Cathedrals” to nostalgic British pop “Early November” to dreamy folk “Ophelia” to enchanting ballads “Eyes For You”.

Don't miss your chance to hear music from his new album.
