    BAMP Project proudly presents...

    Nas

    May 3 & 4
    The Republik
    Honolulu, HI

BAMP Project presents seven time platinum selling rapper/musician Nas live on Maui and Oahu. Performing one-night-only on Maui on Thursday, May 2nd and two shows on Oahu on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. Tickets for all three shows go on sale this Friday, for Oahu at 9:00 a.m. for Maui at 10:00 a.m.

Nas last performed in Hawaii with Damian Marley for the Distant Relatives tour back in 2010. Since then, Nas has released his tenth studio album Life Is Good released July 2012. The album features h...it tracks "Daughters", "The Don", and "Accident Murderers" and has taken him to new height making it his sixth album to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 charts. Nas started his rap career over twenty years ago, but still plays a relevant part in today’s hip hop. His longevity in the game is not by chance. He has earned his spot, every step of the way.

Nas collaborates on the song "Cherry Wine" with the late Amy Winehouse who was one of his longtime friends. He also has features from the likes of Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige, Large Professor, Anthony Hamilton, Miguel and Swizz Beatz. Nas also works with a host of superstar producers including Swizzy, the late great Heavy D, No I.D., Salaam Remi, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and more.

Nas has seven platinum albums, Top 5 rankings on MTV's 10 Greatest MCs of All Time, 11 Grammy nominations and many more accolades. In recent years, though, Nas has transcended mere rapper status and engaged in greater levels of philanthropy. The rapper is an avid UNICEF supporter, helping to raise funds for East African region Horn of Africa and teaming up with the family of George Harrison for the organization’s Month of Giving. The rapper also donated all proceeds of his Distant Relatives tour, his 2010 collaboration with longtime friend Damian Marley, to help end poverty in Africa.
