Re: New Star Bulletin Layout and Color

    People, don't feed the trolls.

May I suggest you avail yourselves of the "ignore" function?

Trolls don't like it when you ignore them. It makes them, uh, invisible!

Burl, I love you, honey, but please shut up. You owe anonymous posters no explanation. I've asked the poster in a PM to call me at work and discuss his problem, whatever it is. So far, no response, but we'll see. People who make vague accusations rarely want to discuss them in detail.

I know you better than anyone here and I understand that your professionalism compels you to respond, but really, don't bother. See what Blaine said.

Move along, folks, nothing to see here ...

Anyway ... back on topic .. Yeah, Blaine (and Stephen, I assume? And maybe Wilma?), the new layout is terrific! I've gotten some good feedback from "the public" about it, too. Good job, all'a y'all (some mainland pidgin, there ...). I don't think the online layout can get much better, but I'm sure you'll prove me wrong at some point.

And yes, folks, as most of you know, I do work at the Star-Bulletin. And I'm damn proud of it, surrounded by the quality of folks I get to work with (and for) every day. Damn, I love my job.

Thanks, Aaron, for starting this thread. (It started good, anyway, ha!) Everyone in this business appreciates a compliment or kind word now and then, and it reflects on us all, so ... thanks!

        Thanks, Maddie.

Yeah, it was Steven Park and me who did it.

But it wasn't as well-received in all corners of the newsroom. That's why I didn't post here in response.

Thanks to all who responded positively.

Well, THIS corner of the newsroom likes the new layout. A lot.
