hi this is sansei and if anyone wonder's where sharie is,i heard on an e-mail from someone i contacted that she's taken sometime off and hoping that she'll be back hopefully this week and so is stephanie lum and possibly howard D took sometime off to possibly get rid of a cold i heard of or taken sometime off and this would be why the team isnt on and that walter and Paul are covering for them.Im Glad Sharie still has her job and that make's me smile:O)

Hi Everyone! Yes... I'm alive! Like many news folks I follow the threads quietly. This post from Sansei really has me PERPLEXED. SO PERPLEXED THAT I DECIDED TO SIGN IN TO HAWAII THREADS after all these years! Let me tell you his statement is shibai! FALSE! I really hate it when people assume things and start rumors. Sharie is a dear soul. She works soooo hard and spends long hours at the station doing more than the on air weather reports. God bless her, she covered for me when I left the station, taping weather updates well into the wee hours of the morning, doing web updates around the clock. She needed a well deserved break. As for Sansei, I know him. He is a news groupie who's followed me and other news folks over the years. JAY (Sansei) STOP THE RUMORS. It is very hurtful. If anyone has questions about the news feel free to ask. Most of these folks are my personal friends. I really do love empowering people with information and knowledge. Be well everyone and thanks for all your support. Oh and by the way... Keahi Tucker is a nice person. He was an intern when I was at KGMB 13 years ago. Sansei doesn't like him because Keahi doesn't have time to talk to him.

hi this is sansei and to angela,i know you know me and that you shared im a news groupie and that maybe true only from what i learned from your former boss the news director at Khnl that he informed me on When sharie was on time off for quite such a long time and her co-worker SL shared with me on when at the time when Sharie would return and I Read Miss E's column and heard about of what you recently were doing with your former employer and i know of such thing's and i do apologize to you angela if your thought's are that i shared mis information only from what i learned that is the truth and for KT,i dislike him is since once when he spoke with me on the phone,he seemed unkind and that's why i dislike him and not that i didnt speak with him so i hope this may help with all of your question's?

Thanks Nords, That whole court thing just hit me like a 15 foot wave at Pipeline. Sansei "Jay" USED to be my best fan. He just ruined it for himself. He owes me and my former news colleagues (friends) an appology.
For years, he asked me for health advice and assistance, never once did I share that information. Now spreading rumors on what he "thinks" is going on with Sharie? SHAME!

This guy watches the news like a hawk, and knows exactly when the anchors get off the desk and at what moment to call the station knowing that someone will have to answer, and he's hoping it's the anchors.

J, you sound like a nice guy but to be honest a lot of times you seem to enjoy messing with the anchors heads.

And why do you have to call so many times in a single day?

Did you ever stop and think how your actions are affecting someone else?

Including someone like Keahi, who may not have a lot of time to talk to you because he's busy getting his show ready?

If any of you who don't know J, maybe this will give you an idea of what he's really like.

Imagine having to deal with someone like that day in and day out.

His community in which he feels he is part of the News Arena and it's People. Juss like on HawaiiThreads.com, We all are part of this community and I always say we are an Ohana.

Yes, telling fibs and rumors are wrong.

We have different personalities which makes it so very exciting. Our various cultures and backgrounds enrich this community. Being "different" doesn't matter. Right?heheheh What I'm trying to say is Sansei, I'm sorry if I said anything to hurt you in any way.

That's beyond "get a life".

I can think of only one time I've called a station. It was to tell a female newscaster that she was turning her face "off" when looking down at her paper just before going to a commercial break. It seemed to be telling the viewers "... now go away" . I don't think she lasted too long. I don't remember the name. I think it was KGMB.

You have a very good point. But I have to say even if that were the case, it still doesn't excuse someone from deliberately trying to mess with someone's head when that person is only trying to do their job and make an honest living.

To be very honest, J was one of the reasons I hated the biz. Dealing with people like that.

But perhaps Sansei has changed his ways? If so, I applaud you and yes we are all one family here!
