We feel strange bringing up new things we're doing because it looks like we're pitching ourselves.

Blatant commercial announcements and advertisements are not encouraged in this section. You can take commercial advertising to the "announcements" or "for sale" sections if the post is purely promotional in nature.

However if someone else brings up something new that your station is doing like the live webstream or the addition of a new news anchorperson, by all means discuss it without turning the post into a promotional ad.

I've worked with Vista since last June. Never had a problem getting the right KGMB9 web page (with the Live Streaming Video at the proper time) until now.

So far, I can view your page properly on Firefox 3.

It's getting even stranger. When I try to visit KGMB9 on my IE Friday night (1/23), it now ask me whether to save a file named "main" or find a program online to open it.

Okay, what did you do this time?

No, it's not bad. It's good news actually. As of Tuesday, my IE7 loaded the KGMB9 web site properly, including the streaming video.
