Could this be a setup for Season 6? LOST/Amazon?

An Air France flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris has disappeared over the Atlantic. The aircraft, which was carrying 228 passengers and crew, is thought to have crashed into the ocean after it left the coast of Brazil.
