Anyone notice the news reads have changed at local TV news stations? KHON... so slow you run to the refridge and back before they go on to the next word. KHNL... so fast their anchors and weather gal hardly take a breath. KITV's Kathy Muneno.... She talks so slow its like the weather audience is a kindergarden group! Denby at KITV..."Neeeeeeeeeews Fouuuuuuuuuur". KGMB... Ever hear how Kim's reads are so fast and loud now it seems like she is yelling at you? What is up with this? It's becoming so annoying I can hardly watch my favorite news anchors anymore. There are a few good reporters who have clear and easy on the ear reads but what happened to the rest?
Anyone know why there is such an inconsistency in the various reads at our local TV stations? What ever happened with consistency? Just tell me the news and talk to me like you are my friend and I'll feel a lot better about WANTING to watch and listen. I'd like to hear other opinions on this.
