Or Rose, since she's been to the bunker. She's got the calmest demeanor of any character on the show, too, so she could probably deal with pushing a button every 108 minutes.

Not all the cast was there, I believe Kate was there but had to leave early. The signings started at 12 PM and we managed to get to them at 1:30 PM -_-

Jack, Hurley, John and Kate saw Sun by themseleves and at different times. So when Jack first saw Sun, Hurley and John was at the station. When Jack went back to the station he took over Hurley's place. Must have told Hurley and John about Sun's problem. Hurley must have went over to help, then Kate took over John's place and then John went over to see what he can do to help Sun. During that time Jack told Kate what had happen and then either Hurley or Sayid took Kate's place at the station.

The music bits you guys use reminds me of Metroid games. Don't ask me why. It just does. And that rocks. Then again, the podcast would rock either way. I was waiting for the next podcast all day and when I saw this post at school during class, I blasted through my project so fast so I could listen at home that I was out of class before the first hour was even up, haha.

The one minor mystery to me is Sun. She told the other guy she majored in Art History in college, but yet she seems knowledgable in some medical field and botany, while her folks don't seem to be the farmers type of people.

Last weeks ep they showed Sun looking around frantically for her wedding ring (which she ended up finding in the sand.) Watching that scene reminded me of a time I spent with my friends in Spokane up in Mt. Spokane.
I watched my friend as she paced the area looking down below as her feet went swaying left to right sweeping the snow to expose the bare ground. She was looking for her ring that she had lost the previous year. It didn't take too long when we heard her call out to her husband...we saw her brushing off the dirt in her hand and between her index and thumb she held out her wedding band.
I thought it was so amazing that she found it. I was in doubt and thought it was a lost cause, the area she lost it in was a camp spot and highly trafficked by tourist. But, lo and behold....there it was.
                It must be fate.

NE Way, just a lil something I wanted to share...I love the show "Lost". We've heard the raves of it last season and decided to get into the groove. We're going to buy S1 to catch up on "history".
We're trying to understand how the Others turned so savage! And, what happened to...."...do I know you brother" Desmond??

François Chau also plays Mr. Chue in tonight's ep of Grey's Anotomy "Bring The Pain".....he also plays Dr. Marvin Candle!

Just got back from the special "LOST Seminar" as part of the Hawaii International Film Festival.

The Star-Bulletin's Tim Ryan was moderator, and not only did he read a four page introduction highlighting other shows filmed in Hawaii (and he called it "a very brief history" -- hah!), he had a painful predilection toward directing questions at the production side rather than the talent side (which is interesting, but with all the fidgeting I could tell most folks wanted to hear from the actors).

It only got really interesting and fun when it got turned over to audience questions... and that was a rushed ten minutes at the end of the two-hour event.

Jorge Garcia, Yunjun Kim, Harold Perrineau, Jr., and Daniel Dae Kim were there. Also, Jack Bender (Executive Producer and Director), Jean Higgins (Producer), John Bartley (Director of Photography), Michael Bonvillain (Director), Archie Ahuna (Special Effects).

Two cheap patio chairs collapsed during the panel (both Bartley's and Ryan's), pretty much stealing the show.

High points: Favorite local foods (fresh seafood was a top answer, Jorge Garcia mentioned banana and mac nut pancakes, Daniel Dae Kim said poke). The Caucasian actor who said he could speak fluent Korean to play opposite Jin who turned out to not be fluent at all, requiring his lines to be written phonetically and posted on the bathroom wall and on Daniel Dae Kim's chest. How ABC hadn't had a hit in so long they forgot how to treat a hit show (wonder if Bender's going to get a call from the network!). And how Jorge Garcia prowls message boards like TheFuselage.com and how he looks himself up on eBay.

Ahh, for the last two weeks the Guest Appearances for "Lost" has Marvin Candle playing Dr. Marvin Candle.

Did you get a chance to tell Jorge about this message board and "the Transmission" podcast? Perhaps if we type his name (Jorge Garcia) a lot in this message topic, the Google crawler will pick it up and Jorge himself will actually check this place out.
                        I'm still here. Are you?

I resisted the urge to sneak in a mention, actually, especially after another audience member used her question to ask for an ABC contact to start an official local fan club. Ah well.

Keep in mind, there's a reason folks call the IMDB the "Incorrect Movie Database." It's rife with errors, and frequently, pranks as well. Some of the cast members for future episodes are characters from the sitcom Dharma and Greg, for example. Funny, but wrong.

Insofar as upcoming appearances are listed correctly, however, some folks would consider such information spoilers.

It looked to me more like Waihe'e Falls, over in Kahalu'u.

I apologize.... I didn't realize it was a spoiler considering that the IMDB database at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411008/guests has François Chau listed for the October 5th and November 23rd eps. For that matter, had the character listed twice!

Hiya folks. Check Tim Ryan's column in today's Star-Bulletin:

                                http://starbulletin.com/print/?fr=/2...ures/ryan.html

In "Lost" news, a female series regular will die at the hands of another female regular, beginning Nov. 9. If you think a cast member purchasing an Oahu house is a guarantee that an actor will not die on the show, producers Jean Higgins and Jack Bender say "definitely not."

Yunjin Kim is the latest "Lost" star to purchase a home here. Hmmm ...
