Ok, I haven't really been thinking of it too much.... but i'm 9 days away from moving to Oahu.
My brother was born and raised on Maui and I get to move in with a good friend until i find a place.
I just wanted to thanks all of you for the great info ya'll have provided here on hawaiithreads.
Also wanted to share a great book i read too "So you want to live in Hawaii" by Toni Polancy. It's a great no nonsense realistic guide to living on Hawaii.
Good thing for me with my experiences of Hawaii, i could relate and understand a lot of what she said.
A lot of people get the wrong impression of "living in hawaii" so this book sets it straight.
Anyway. look forward to reading more from these boards, and contributing when i can
