  • Perverted "Teabagging" Jokes on TV

Here is a link to photo coverage of the Hawai Tea Parties held in 7 locations on 4 islands.

Hawaii Tea Party Updates: 100s at Capitol, 250 at Kahului, 300 on Big Island

CNN's ever-so-professional Anderson Cooper informed the world that "it is hard to talk when you're teabagging". I hasten to point out that this is only true if Anderson Cooper is on the receiving end--which I had always suspected but have tried to avoid visualizing. Ditto for Olbermann and Maddow.

Anderson Cooper: 'It's hard to talk when you're teabagging'...

If you don't know what they are talking about trust me--ignorance is bliss.

But if you really have to know look it up in the Urban Dictionary online. http://www.urbandictionary.com/defin...rm=tea+bagging

I have never felt prouder of the journalistic profession than I have in these last few days. Without their insightful analysis, I never would have lerned just what a bunch of sick freaks they all are.

The current use of "teabagging" has been around for a long time, and that's part of the joke. A lot of people don't know, and they go all out in the stories talking about they love to do it. Little do they know. Then again...

You are not the only one, Auntie. What is it with people? Gotta tag every move with a weird description. I'm glad I did not know; this is another example of what wonderful edumacation is available from the media.

Interesting how they had to go there.

Okay. And the most applicable definition appears to be:

            7. Tea Bagging

A horribly misguided attempt by the most extreme of the American conservative right to find some basic form of party unity by lashing out against everything that the Obama administration has done since entering the White House.
"The Republican tea-bagging of the White House is a glorified waste of time and effort propagated by the Fox News Network in order to boost their TV ratings."

"Hey Bob, did you go to yesterday's Republican Tea Bagging Protest?"
"No I didn't, Joe, because I have a legitimate understanding of the way the economy works."

Don't feed the trolls. Auntie set me straight and I thank her for that.
