His views are identical to Ryan's and almost identical to those Romney is expressing now. They favor a "personhood" amendment to the Constitution defining life as beginning at conception, it would ban abortion in rape or incest cases and ban a lot of contraception methods too. Good old "get the government off our backs" GOP. Another case of Orwellianism, right up there with War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery, Ignorance Is Strength: get the government off our backs, we are controlling your personal life now.

'Morning Joe' Scartissue is touting the rebuking of Aiken by commiecons as a great yet rare thing, but the only reason they are clubbing him is simply out of desperation towards retaining his Senate seat. They want him out NOW so they can install someone with a better chance, otherwise they'd be defending him.

I would rate this statement "mostly true" on the Truth-O-Meter.

The back story to this is the woman behind the typical republican nutcase, his batshit brain wife. She controls her little puppet man and is making sure he doesn't remove himself from the race he's in. At least this will be an important Congressional seat the Dems can now take.
