Two online articles today about North Korea:
I feel like I am watching an episode of The Outer Limits or The Twilight Zone. Does anyone else think this is just ..... a totally weird world we live in?
Thursday’s announcement by North Korea that it could launch a pre-emptive nuclear attack against the United States in the face of new U.N. sanctions is a predictable escalation of the isolated nation’s increasingly aggressive stance toward Washington over the past year. But experts note that Pyongyang’s recent advances in its nuclear weapons and missile programs mean that such bellicose rhetoric cannot be taken lightly.
The escalation of the North’s oratory began not long after the country’s 28-year-old leader, Kim Jong Un, took over from his late father, Kim Jong Il, on Dec. 28, 2011. It has been accompanied by two space launches – one successful – and a third nuclear weapons test.

Dennis Rodman is reportedly trying to do something that hasn’t been achieved in decades – broker peace between the US and North Korea.
Rodman’s publicist tells TMZ that The Worm is planning a second trip to the DPRK in the next six months, and securing peace between his new pal Kim Jong Un and President Obama would be the NBA legend’s greatest achievement.
The aspiring diplomat allegedly wants to use his new odd-couple friendship with the Outstanding Leader to forge peace and convince Kim Jong Un to engage in talks with the president.
